A skid integrates all the necessary equipment—including loading arms, meters, valves, filters, and safety features—onto a single, compact, steel platform. Different types of loading skids exist for various applications, such as top-loading (from the top of the tanker) and bottom-loading (from the side). Cryogenic skids are used for materials like liquefied natural gas (LNG).

Following the evolution of the market of liquids for the energy market, Isoil has also developed loading skids for products such as LPG and LNG, and it keeps offering its long experience in measuring and automation for tank truck loading operations.
